Activities & times:
* 9am: Volleyball tournament. Teams-call Holly Sutter, 744-5682. Volunteers needed to help with the tournament.
* 1pm: Baby contest (0-5) (Beta Gals). 5 year old winners will be crowned Mr.
and Miss Firecracker and will ride in the Atchison County Parade. Registration at 1pm.
* 1pm: Apple or Cherry Pie Contest (Beta Gals). Registration at 1pm; judging at 3pm. Slices of pie sold for $1 after judging is completed.
* 1pm: Pop can plunge (Beta Gals). $1/can chance to win Worlds of Fun tickets.
* 3pm: Funnel cakes and face painting (FCCLA officers).
* 3pm: Face mural photos (Courtney Lechner).
* 3pm: Train rides (high school wrestlers) - $1 each.
* 3pm: Frog jump contest (Lucky Clovers.) - $1 to participate and $2 to rent a frog. Registration at 2:30 p.m.
* 3pm: Blow-up Bounce house $1, inflated slide $1 , and a $3.50 meal of hot dogs, chips, and drinks (after-prom parents).
* 3pm: Ice cream items sold at $1.50 each (Christian Church Youth Group).
* 4pm: Young vs Old softball. Teams-check in with Brian or Shannon Tharp at 3:30pm.
* 4pm: Games-Watermelon seed spitting contest, sack race, egg toss, tug-o-war, pogo stick and hula hoop contest (Angela and Jill). Sign up sheets available that day.
* Talent Show: Participants may sing, dance or perform what they want. To
